Ashley heads up customer service at Southern Water having spent 17 years in the water industry leading customer service and operational teams through performance turnaround and business transformation. His responsibilities have included customer services, digital transformation, strategy, business growth and culture change. Ashley was responsible for leading the customer experience of the industry’s first compulsory metering programme, which included the installation of over 1 million meters to customers’ homes in 5 years. In 2017, he was responsible for preparing Southern Water for the opening of the non-household water market, leading the implementation of a new operating model, new technology and relationships with business retailers. He thrives on empowering teams through training and development, instilling a culture of excellence and accountability. His ability to inspire and lead by example has earned him recognition as a forward-thinking leader dedicated to delivering great outcomes for customers.
