Rules for Customer Experience 'Rockstars' ft. James Dodkins
James Dodkins is a ‘Customer Experience Rockstar’. Between the 7th and 10th of October 2019, James will join 70+ expert speakers at Customer Contact WeekEurope, the European flagship for the world’s largest customer contact event series. There, James will perform a ‘musical keynote’ where he will share stories, ideas, frameworks and mindsets that will take your customer experience offering up a notch. Below, we ask James some question about his passion for customer contact and his involvement in the event.
Tell me a little bit about yourself and your career in the customer contact industry?
I used to
be an actual, real life, legitimate, award-winning rockstar. I played guitar in
a heavy metal band, released albums and tore up stages all over the world, I
use this unique experience to energize, empower and inspire my clients and
their teams as a 'Customer Experience Rockstar'.
What makes you passionate about work in this industry?
There are
very few industries where you have the chance to positively affect basically
every single person on earth, I believe ‘Customer experience’ is one of them.
Every customer that has ever been, currently is, and will ever be has
experiences with companies so if you can be a part of improving that, that’s
massive!
What is your involvement at CCW Europe 2019?
I will be
delivering my ‘Rules For Rockstars’ keynote which is the world’s first and only
musical CX keynote.
Why are events like CCW Europe 2019 important for industry professionals and what can they expect to take away?
I love being at events like CCW, I love performing my keynote but I also love learning what companies are doing to deliver such outstanding experiences to their customers. No matter if you agree, disagree, or learn something new, you learn and grow as a professional.
